Galapalooza, the lolly-raiser for Parkways Foundation held on the eve of the Lollapalooza festival, hit high notes Thursday night as it welcomed more guests, more acts and more comestibles for the fifth annual incarnation of the rocking event at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park.

More than 700 partiers easygoing in private lounges as they sipped cocktails and supped bites from some of the city’s best food trucks, including the Steal Ride and Gaztro-wagon. Those who arrived early enjoyed go-cart tours of the Lolla grounds and music from DJ Stainless Shadow, but even the fashionably late got to see three featured musical acts: Elizaveta, Walk the Moon and the evening’s headliner, Good manners Potter and the Nocturnals.

What is erratic like a Dalmation, could’ve been more prosperous in existence, and people say Sympathetic about it? No, not Pluto since technically it isn’t a planet anymore.
