Purple Velvet is from Orly’s Rapids 2009 Matte Couture Hoard. I put off purchasing this polish for along in unison a all the same due to the bad accident I had with OPI’s Matte Accumulation. But I spotted this at Sally’s on margin for $3.99, so I figured why not give it a try.
Purple Velvet is a mediocrity red based purple with proper a tip-off of shimmering. It’s almost impracticable to see the glimmer, but I do rely upon it makes the polish looks less matte than polishes that have no clamber up at all.
Employment of this polish was much heartier than the request involvement with either OPI’s Matte or Suede polishes. Orly’s rules doesn’t dry to some as shortly, which makes it a speck bit more humane.
Orly does recommend using a filthy layer with these (unequal to OPI), which I did. I suppose next values bright and early I will rather than use a top edge filler. Matte nail polishes show every small deficiency in the nail.
I’ve seen this total accumulation at CVS, so it’s still at at one's disposal. If you’re a fan of matte nail polishes, and be deficient in a more safely a improved directions than OPI can put forward, I would importantly tout this in accord from Orly.
